How to speak Sutter-ese
Hey everyone! I’m 21 months old right now and I am trying really hard to let the world know that I have some important stuff to say! Here’s a list of common phrases you might encounter if you hang with me - hopefully they will help in translating for those who speak Sutter-ese as a native tongue!
Buuh Mama Paas: “Book, Mama, Please!”
Behfaas: “Breakfast”
Beh Baah: “Big Bird”
Haam: “Home”
Ah Ah: “Dada”
Amma: “Pammy”
Ah Eh: “Decker”
Ah BUH!: “All DONE!”
Boh Boh Boh BOH: “Pollywog in a Bog!” (my favorite song!)
Iihz: “eyes”
Mowt: “mouth”
Ehs: “ears”
That’s just a few! There’s many more, but frankly to the untrained ear they probably all sound very similar! That’s ok! At least you can say you made the effort to try!
Buh Bih! (”Bye Bye”)
